Obi Chinaza Joy is the Founder and Proprietor of Whitestone Montessori School, a purpose-driven educational institution committed to nurturing well-rounded, independent, and confident learners.
She is a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where she completed her studies in 2016 with Second Class Upper in Health Education. Immediately after graduating, her passion for education and love for child-centered learning led her to pursue a career in transforming early childhood education.
Driven by a deep love for child-centered education and the Montessori philosophy, Obi Chinaza Joy established Whitestone Montessori School in 2020. The inspiration for the school was strengthened during the COVID-19 pandemic, a period that highlighted the need for more effective, flexible, and engaging learning methods for children. Through her experiences, she recognized the importance of Montessori education as a simpler, practical, and faster way for children to learn, explore, and develop essential life skills.
Obi Chinaza Joy hails from Isuochi in Abia State and is married in Amaze Obibieze Nnanna, Imo State. She is a proud mother of four beautiful children and comes from a family of five siblings. Her roles as an educator, entrepreneur, wife, and mother continue to shape her vision for quality education and child development.
Through Whitestone Montessori School, she remains dedicated to building a strong educational foundation for children and contributing positively to the future of society.
